Owen's 3rd Season of Spring Baseball

He's played for Coach Jay all 3 Seasons, and they have been the "Venom" for the past two years (not my favorite name, but Moms don't get to vote)

Owen has improved in bats & fielding this year...so fun to watch the boys really start playing ball!

Mimi is our Biggest Baseball Fan ~ she offers $1 for every hit :-)

Coach Jay's pow wow's after each game are always fun to listen in on...he then gives a game ball to the MVP of the game

These hard working boys were 24 wins, with only 1 loss!

(and that was all in just two months time!)

The Venom have celebrated with Braums more times than I can count; Owen tried Rocky Road for his 1st time...and fell in love (it was my fave growing up)

Greg prepared dinner for me tonight...the entire dinner! (this.is.HUGE!) He even looked up a marinade recipe and grilled one of my fave's ~ kabobs! We also dined on a delicious spinach and strawberry salad and almond rice pilaf...YUMMY! For dessert ~ an ice cream sundae bar thanks to Ella "Cherry and Sprinkle Lover" Ruley. ;-)

World's Most Giving Father

Due to our rush to get to the airport to leave for Ireland, Father's Day was a bit short lived this year.

But, before we left, the kids presented him with lots of xoxo's, cards and gifts.

Abby made her Daddy the sweetest Storybook about him being the world's most giving Father. Those are the best gifts of all! 

There are no words to describe the gratefulness I feel in my heart when it comes to the blessing of having the love of my life also be my partner in raising our children. In every area where I lack (and often times fail), he is always there to save the day. He is the most consistently loving man I know. He doesn't waver. He is steadfast. He is a living example of Christ.
