My Greatest Love

The year was 1988.
The place ~ Bishop Kelley High School.
A 14 yr old boy named Greg and a girl named Katie met.
It didn't take long for their friendship to turn into something more.
From the age of 16 on, the two were inseparable.
They experienced nearly everything together.
Before they knew it, the time came to head off to college.
Greg to the Univ. of Kansas, Katie to OU.
Being apart led to unbearable heartache.
"You know you're in love when you can't fall asleep because reality is finally better than your dreams."
—
Dr. Seuss
By sophomore year, they were together.
Reunited at last.
Although the love never wained...their courtship took some wild turns.
In the mean time, God worked on their hearts and orchestrated their future.
(Jeremiah 29:11)
Before long they were taking their relationship to the next level.
Greg *dropped Katie the summer of 1994.
(*Drop - to present your girlfriend with a necklace that has  the letters of your fraternity as a sign of commitment and love.)

After maturing and growing even closer, the next step was just around the corner...
On Greg's 22nd birthday, February 1st, 1996, the two became engaged.
Six months later, on Saturday, August 17th, 1996,
Greg and Katie said *I DO

"But at the beginning of creation God 'made them male and female. For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh.' So they are no longer two, but one. Therefore what God has joined together, let man not separate."

One of the Best Days of their Life
After six years of courting, it was a day they had dreamed about...
and dreams do come true
You know what happens next...BABIES!
God blessed them with four Amazing children ~ Will, Abby, Ella and Owen
Family ~ Nothing Compares
The best thing to hold on to in life is each other...
And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is LOVE.
I Cor 13:13
*HAPPY 15TH ANNIVERSARY to the LOVE OF MY LIFE*
