*~*HAPPY 34th BIRTHDAY ELIZABETH!!*~*
I want to dedicate today’s entry to you…the girl with whom I have had the honor of sharing my longest lasting friendship…33 years this summer!
You have been one of those gifts in my life that words cannot do justice. So…I have found some quotes that I thought might help convey what my heart feels.
"I don't remember how we happened to meet each other.I don't remember who got along with whom first. All I can remember is us together...always."
Us around age 2 in our matching nightgowns!
Our 1st Day of Kindergarten at Eisenhower Elementary!
Us “posing” for each other during our 1st trip to Camp Takatoka! (Check out your SWEET “O.P.” tee!)
"I always knew looking back on the tears would make me laugh. But I never knew looking back on the laughs would make me cry."
Roxanne’s photo session of us in our matching “Jams” & Lotto’s!
The College Days…oh, those cropped shirts are SO HOT!!
Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their work: If one falls down, his friend can help him up. But pity the man who falls and has no one to help him up! Also, if two lie down together, they will keep warm. But how can one keep warm alone? Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken. Eccl 4:9-12
You were there by my side…
And I by yours…
Few delights can equal the mere presence of someone we utterly trust.
~ George MacDonald
Our most recent journey together…Motherhood.
