Girls who Love Jesus

Friday, November 15th
My friend Laurie Hembree began a Bible Study two years ago for girls in the Jenks Syno program. Now that the girls are in 7th grade, and there is no longer a Syno program, she decided to expand it.
SO grateful my Abby got in on that list! :-)
I gladly volunteered to host as I looked forward to meeting everyone...including the two precious leaders - both Juniors at Jenks who attend Fellowship Bible Church and are grounded in their Faith.
Soooo grateful my Abby got in on that list. In a public school with 850 kids in your grade, it is very difficult to find other Believers and make authentic friendships. Trojans for Christ on Friday mornings is awesome...but an intimate study every Friday afternoon is even more awesome!
These are the girls I want my Abby connecting with and making memories with...

BTS 2013

What a Year we are going to have!!
(tried a pic collage for 1st time on FB)
Will is headed to Jenks Freshman Academy!!
(yes, he is now the age his Dad and I met at Bishop Kelley in 1988!)
Will is still doing Jenks & SH Golf, Guitar and his favorite past time is MindCraft on the Xbox.
His 1st love is still Youth Group at Asbury. He will seriously tear up if for some reason he can't make it to an event. He's on the Leadership Team, Worship Team and attends Sunday School, worship at Venue, C-Group on Sunday night and Bible Study on Wed nights. As prophesied when I was pregnant with him, God is already working on his heart for a future ministry. His Dad and I eagerly await the unfolding of this great & mighty promised plan!
Abby Lou is entering 7th at Jenks Middle School.
Praise God for "Early Back Academy" (a 3 day program Jenks offers for new students) as she is a lil' nervous about the new school...it feels as big as a college campus! I think there are 850 students in her class! She's made some new friends including Hailey B, Kylee, Claire, and many others. She's still close with all her JE peeps as well - Savi, Abigail, Katie. Her favorite past times are Instagram, Pinterest/crafts, tumbling, training Romey, and garage saling with Momma. ;-)
Abby is doing 7th Grade Jenks Black Pom for the 1st time this year...there are 21 on her squad! She is really enjoying it...although she is already thinking about switching to Cheer next year (which I'm for). She's at OXT working on her back handspring so she'll be ready! :-)
Her New BTS Sperrys...*Silver Sparkle*
Poor Romey...she was so sad to see her big bro & sis leave for school. She got used to having them home with her this summer. :-(
And, Here goes the 2nd round of Ruley School Go-ers!
Miss Ella Bella is going into 4th grade at Jenks SE. Sadly, this is her last year there. :-(
I can't believe we are already at this point. It feels like yesterday that we transferred her over for 2nd grade. She's had Ms. Campbell, Ms. Walker for 3rd and now Ms. Roberts for 4th (who's very cool!)
Ella has many friends and is very well liked. Her closest friend right now is Reese. They are on Jenks White Cheer squad together and having a ball! She still keeps in touch with Mallory (who is now at Monte). Her favorite past times are crafts, movies, singing, and playing with Romey. She is going to have a FABULOUS year!!!
Ella's cool new backpack from Tickled Sew Pink.
And here's my lil man, Owen. 1st Grade is his destination and oh is he excited!
He got blessed with Ms. Lukeman who we've heard nothing but Ah-Mazing things about. He is trying soccer for the 1st time this Fall with a JSE team...we are really excited about it! (However, I have to say his heart is still with football ~ the sport I'm trying hard to navigate him away from). Owen's favorite past times are Wii Mario, playing catch with Dad, riding his bike (just learned how this summer), playing with Romey, Lego's, and EATING. seriously.
O's new UA backpack
Love these 2!
(and soooo cherish my time with them...this is their last year together in school; they will never be in the same building again...boo hoo)
Bus Stop
(bus was so late I ended up driving them)
Here's to a GREEEEAT Year!!!!
Jeremiah 29:11
the forced hug...and stiff smile pic
Although, I must say these two have turned the corner this summer. They had many awesome playtimes together when big bro & sis were away. It touched this Momma's heart so to see the hope of a special friendship developing between them. May it continue to blossom in the years to come.
