Snow Day...Sorta

After two years of Owen praying for Snow, we finally got some!
I tried to drive the kids to the bus, but No Way Hosea! They were going to soak up every moment of the white fluff before they had to go to school!
I felt so bad that they were going to be stuck inside all day while an answer to prayer had finally arrived. :-( It was a Snow Day...but, not the kind where you get to run around in it all day as lil' man had hoped.
It was fun to see our new house in a winter coat for the first time...
always something so magical about that.
With my toasty coffee in hand, I took in the snowy view from my office...ahhh, how I love the blessing of seeing God's nature from the warmth of my home! :-)
(Update: All 4 Kids did get some snow playtime as soon as they got home from school...it was super fun to see them all explore what kind of snowy fun there is to do in our new backyard)

Love is the Greatest

"And now these three remain: faith, hope and love.
But the greatest of these is love."

Two Peas in a Pod

These two are about the Ka-Yutest little 11 year olds in the World!
God divinely had them meet on their JEI Bus ride on the way home in the afternoons. Abby and I just realized the other day, had we never moved...they would have probably never met. And, THAT would be a tragedy.
Cause these girlies are *2 PeAs iN a PoD*
They are the same size, similar personalities, sweet as sugar, the list goes on and on.
When I explained to them why I was taking pictures over the weekend (during their sleepover), I said because one day, if you all are friends for a long time, you will looove looking back and seeing your first encounters. They both instantly yelled out "Uh Yeah...We'll Be Friends Forever!!"

Looking Fine at 39

*Happy 39th Birthday to my Handsome Hubby!*
We celebrated with a few close friends and some of Greggor's favorite things: pizza, drinks & his requested "better than s@x" cake. ;-)
Had big plans to have Round II of my famous Win, Lose or Draw game (Round I occurred at his last b'day party a couple years back - it was full of immense laughter and fun!) However, we never quite made it there this time. That's okay...we're gettin' old and sleep is savored these days.
I love this Birthday Boy more than words can express. He is my Numero Uno Love.
Wishing him God's Best beyond Best in the coming year!!
